Absolutely! Let's look at the cost difference....Let's assume the going bookkeeping rate is $15-$18/hr. Even if that person worked only 20 hrs. a week, the monthly pay would be (20hrsx$18/hr x4wks) $1,440/mo. + employer payroll taxes (FICA/Unemployment) + supplies/computer for that person + any benefits (sick/vacation/insurance) they may be given. So, even with the most expensive package with A/P and A/R Add-On's of $120/each...$840/mo. vs. $1,440+/mo. That's over $7,200+/year savings!
Think of a bookkeeper as a Physicians Assistant and an Accountant as a Doctor.
You would see the PA for your day-to-day issues. They would be right there to make sure you are well taken care of and identify and remedy any bookkeeping issues immediately.
An Accountant, on the other hand, is the Doctor you would see for shorter periods of time, for bigger financial events like annual tax filings, audits or more advanced financial analysis.
Our preferred way is using Dropbox or the document transfer feature in QuickBooks Online. However, if you are more comfortable with snail mail, we have no problem with that!
We sure can! Once we know the scope of the bookkeeping work needed, we can give you a quote.
We use QuickBooks Online. However, if you use QBDesktop, we have workflows in place for it as well...no problem!
